Model PSB Hermetic CBD Centrifugal Filter

High-performance batch-discharge centrifugal filtration equipment designed for CBD extraction processes to achieve precise separation of solvents and impurities, enhancing extraction efficiency and product purity.

It can be used in two kinds of CBD extraction project:

1) CBD ethanol extraction

Separates CBD ethanol solution from solid cannabis raw materials, removing plant fibers, impurities, and other solid substances to simplify subsequent purification.

The cannabis material is mixed with ethanol for extraction, then pumped into the PSB centrifuge.

The drum rotates at high speed (3,000 rpm), retaining solid fibers via the filter while the CBD-containing ethanol solution discharges through the filtrate port.

An electric hoist discharges the material automatically, collecting the filter residue with an ethanol recovery rate ≥98%.

2) Supercritical CO₂ Extraction (Winterization Process)

Separates waxes, oils, and ethanol after winterization of crude products, reducing impurity residue and improving CBD crystal purity.

CO₂ crude extract is diluted with ethanol and fed into the PSB centrifuge for winterization (low temperature: 5°C).

Under centrifugal force, waxes and fats form a filter cake, while the purified ethanol-CBD solution flows directly into the crystallization tank.

A quick-opening balance cylinder design enables filter residue cleaning within 10 minutes, supporting continuous production.

Structure

This PSB type of CBD centrifugal filter is consisted of motor, driving part, drum part, damper, engine base, cover, and control cabinet, etc.
