Subcritical Extraction Equipment

Subcritical extraction is a novel extraction and separation technology that utilizes the principle of "like dissolves like" for organic substances to obtain the target product. It employs a subcritical fluid as the extraction solvent to transfer fat-soluble components from the solid raw material into the liquid solvent. The target product is then separated from the solvent mixture through vacuum evaporation. The entire process occurs within a closed, oxygen-free, and low-pressure environment.

1) Subcritical extraction equipment primarily consists of solvent tanks, extraction kettles, separation kettles, condensers, compressors, vacuum pumps, and a control system.

2) During operation, raw materials are first loaded into the extraction kettle. The vacuum pump is activated to achieve the required vacuum level inside the extraction kettle. The solvent tank is then opened, allowing the extraction solvent to enter the extraction kettle under vacuum for static extraction.

3) After extraction is complete, the separation kettle is evacuated. The extraction mixture flows into the separation kettle under vacuum, where the solvent is vaporized and removed. The extracted material is collected at the bottom of the separation kettle.

4) Finally, residual solvent in both the extraction kettle and separation kettle is recovered by the compressor. The gaseous solvent is returned to the solvent tank after being cooled by the condenser, ready for the next extraction cycle.
