Introduction
Falling film evaporator(FFE) is a high effective evaporator with large heating area and cooling area, and works under vacuum situation.

Working description
Falling film evaporator uses a feeding pump to pump the liquid material from a feeding tank into the coiling heater and then to the evaporator, where the liquid material being heated during its falling from top to bottom by gravity. In this process, the low boiling point solvent turns into gaseous state while high boiling point product remains in liquid state, an so gas and liquid will be separated in the evaporation chamber and separator. After that, the gaseous solvent flows to the condenser and be cooled down to liquid and be received by the receiver. The whole process is under vacuum.
Structure
Falling film evaporator is mainly composed of evaporator, evaporation chamber, vapor-liquid separator, condenser, liquid receiver, feed tank, feed pump, solvent pump, product pump and vacuum system, electrical control system, pipelines, etc.
Features
1) The concentration ratio is high, the heat transfer coefficient is high, makes the viscous liquid easy to flow and evaporate;
2) The material liquid is mildly heated, the heating time is short, and the evaporation temperature is low, which is suitable for the concentration of heat-sensitive materials;
3) The equipment can be equipped with CIP cleaning pipes, which can be cleaned in situ, easy to operate, and no dead ends;
